Welcome to my blog and thank you for stopping by (smile).
I’m thrilled you are here!
If you are looking for encouragement…you’ve come to the right place.
This journey of parenting has revealed in me God-given strength and has also highlighted my weaknesses. I am aware more than ever before that I AM A MOM WITH SPECIAL NEEDS of my own: The need for strength, patience, control over the words I say, and the need for a mini vacation (which is usually a coffee break) – HA!
One of my greatest needs is to keep my mind healthy and positive. To do this, I need God’s strength and wisdom. I need to be filled so that I can pour out.
I will be sharing a word of encouragement weekly on my blog for our 52 week journey. The focus here is about US changing as parents and NOT about our son/daughter changing.
Please join me on this journey!
We all need encouragement…and an extra measure for us special needs moms!
You are not alone on your parenting journey. I’m right there with you on this roller coaster of life’s ups and downs. Your courage is my inspiration for writing. This quote reminds me of the hero in each of you.
“Courage does not always roar. Sometimes courage is the quiet voice at the end of the day saying, “I will try again tomorrow.”
